Investment Map assists investment promotion
agencies in defining
priority sectors for investment promotion, identifying potential
investors in a given sector and identifying competitor countries for
inward investment. Its main strength lies in the combination of data on
international trade, foreign direct investment, tariff and foreign
affiliated companies into an easy-to-use, interactive Internet tool that
allows analysis by sector, home and host country. It is produced by the
International Trade Centre and UNCTAD in partnership with WAIPA and
MIGA.

The Investment Promotion
Toolkit is a compilation of international best practices
and aims to assist IPAs to attract and retain FDI. It consists
of nine modules featuring: understanding FDI, developing an
IPA, creating an investment promotion strategy, building effective
partnerships, strengthening the location's image, targeting
and generating FDI opportunities, servicing investors, monitoring
and evaluating activities and results and utilizing IT.
